Yes, you may use your Gift Card at any merchant that accepts Visa. However, it is common for service-oriented merchants to automatically factor in an additional percentage (often times, up to 20% over the purchase price) to cover any tip or incidental charges you may leave on the card. To prevent a decline, we advise you to check with the company to determine their policy for over-authorizing.
 
No. You can add multiple bank accounts to your profile at Popmoney.com. For each payment you receive, you can choose which account should receive the money.
If you attempt to make a purchase with your Visa debit card and do not have enough money in your checking account to cover the purchase, it will overdraft to your savings account or to your Visa credit card line of credit. Once the overdraft sources are exhausted then Courtesy Pay may be activated.

At the point-of-sale, use your Gift Card as a signature based transaction. Please select the “credit” option. If you select “debit”, the terminal will prompt you for a PIN, which is not available with the gift card.
International Funds Transfers will be delivered in 2 business days, with the exception transfers to Canada and Mexico which will be delivered in 1 business day.
There is no limit to the number of transfers from your checking account. However, federal regulations allow only six transfers each month via AltaOne Online Banking, VoiceOne, or overdraft for each of your various savings accounts.

Bank account information (routing and account number): the money will be directly deposited into your bank account. The sender may choose to notify you by sending you an email.
It is free to get a replacement card with the same image as the one that was stolen. However, if you are requesting a replacement card with a different image the cost is $9.95. If your card is lost or damaged, the standard replacement fee will apply. Please check our schedule of fees and charges for the current fee.
Confirmation is not sent when the wire is received, however wire transfers can be traced for a fee.
The exchange rate is locked in for 24 hours following the processing of the wire. This way, even if the wire is requested after the cutoff time for sending the wire, the exchange rate will remain the same when the wire is sent the next day.

Yes. Unlike the reloadable VISA card, you may not put funds on the card at a later date, nor can you add funds to it. The Gift Card is purchased as a one-time option.  Once those funds are used up the card is no longer of any use.

If you notice transactions on your account that you have not made, contact customer service immediately by calling the phone number provided on the back of your card. They will follow normal dispute processes to investigate the fraudulent transactions.
 
Each card per account is $9.95 and will be charged to the account associated with the card being customized. When your card is due to automatically renew, there will be no additional charge and your card will be printed with your customized image.

A couple different scenarios may have caused this.
  1. The merchant selected 'debit' instead of 'credit' to run the transaction.
  2. The merchant selected 'gift' instead of 'credit' to run the transaction.
  3. The merchant attempted to process the purchase for a greater amount than what is available on the card. If this happens, you should ask the merchant to run a “split-tender” transaction, which will allow you to pay a portion of your purchase with your card and the remaining balance with another form of payment.
  4. You are attempting to make a purchase online and have not registered your Gift Card yet.

It can take up to 30 days for transactions to appear on the "Point Details" page. If points from a qualified transaction do not appear after 30 days, contact us for assistance.
 
If your card has been lost or stolen, contact customer service by calling the phone number provided on the back of your card. We recommend that you keep the phone number in a safe place for future reference. You will be able to speak to a live agent and obtain a replacement card. There will be a $5.00 fee assessed to your card balance to replace your card.
It is an AltaOne Visa debit card that you customize by choosing the image or photo that appears on your card.

 
People Pay is an innovative payment service offered by leading financial institutions that eliminates the hassles of checks and cash. Now, sending and receiving money is as easy as emailing and texting. Best of all, you don't need a new account to send or receive money. Just log in to your AltaOne Online Banking account to start using People Pay.
A credit purchase (signature-based transaction) will allow only the total amount of the purchase to be posted to your checking account and requires a signature. A debit purchase (Personal Identification Number (PIN)-based transaction) will allow the total amount of the purchase as well as any cash back to be posted to your checking account immediately. Both debit and credit transactions will be deducted exclusively from your checking account.

 
There is no minimum age to purchase a Gift Card.
UChoose Rewards is a rewards program where you earn points for shopping using your AltaOne Platinum Rewards Credit Card. You can also redeem your points for anything of your choice from a huge online rewards catalog.
You can direct your payment to a checking, savings, or money market account.
It can take up to 40 days to credit your points to your account. You must accumulate 1,500 points before you can redeem your points. After that, you can redeem for any number of amazing items. Simply look for your “Total Points” at the top of any page when you are logged in to the UChoose Rewards website to see how many points you have available for redemption.
AltaOne Online Banking operates in "real time". That means your transactions will post immediately to your account. When transacting on an account that processes through a third party vendor please expect a slight delay as the vendor updates their records.

 
Your funds should be available in your account within three business days from the date that you provide your account information. You will receive a confirmation email with the date the funds will be in your account. Please check your bank's policy on funds availability.
You earn points everywhere your card is accepted.
Your card may be used anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. The brand marks on your card indicate where the card is accepted. Merchants typically display the logos in their storefront. Your card can also be used for online and telephone purchases.
You can access the history of your point activity on the Point Details page.
Go to the Custom Visa Debit Card page and follow the instructions and screen prompts provided.
Some merchants like hotels, gas stations, and rental car agencies will place a hold on funds above the amount of the charge when you use your Visa debit card.  To avoid this be sure to use the "credit" side of your debit card.
