Notice: AltaOne Federal Credit Union’s Annual Meeting is being held Thursday, April 23, 2026. Additional meeting details will be provided to members at a later date. Three official volunteer positions are up for election, two positions are for a 3-year term, and one position is for a 2-year term.

Nominees: The following have been nominated by the Nominating Committee of AltaOne Federal Credit Union for the three positions and terms below for the credit union’s volunteer Board of Directors:

  • Norman Alexander, 3-year term, Incumbent.

  • Don Cortichiato, 3-year term, Incumbent.

  • Dana Mota, 2-year term, Incumbent, and will serve for the remainder of Ms. Kennedy's term

Petition Procedures: In addition to the candidates nominated by the Nominating Committee, qualified members may be nominated by petition. This procedure requires that the nominee must submit a petition with signatures of at least 500 members of AltaOne and a statement signed by the nominee indicating willingness to serve if elected to the board. Petitions must be received by the Nominating Committee Chair no later than March 27, 2026, at 5 p.m. Petitions hand-carried or mailed to: David Riley, AltaOne Corporate Office at 701 S. China Lake Blvd., Ridgecrest, CA 93555 or emailed to: driley@altaone.net, will be considered delivered to the Committee Chair. An information packet regarding the duties and responsibilities of a member on the Board of Directors, is available upon request.

The petition must conform to the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 500 valid signatures of AltaOne members.

  • Signatures must be accompanied with printed name and full address.

  • Only the primary member on a valid account may sign.

  • Only AltaOne Federal Credit Union members may sign petitions.

  • A voting member may sign any given candidate petition only once.

  • A voting member must be 16 years of age by December 31, 2025; must be a natural person; and is allowed only one vote regardless of the number of accounts held.

  • The Supervisory Committee shall serve as the final judge as to the validity of member signatures.

Employees of AltaOne and members of their immediate families are not eligible for nomination in accordance with the Credit Union’s bylaws. If the number of nominees equals the number of vacancies, the candidates nominated may be declared elected and no other balloting conducted. Such declaration would be conducted at the Annual Meeting of the Membership, Thursday, April 23, 2026.
