Fraud: Identity Theft

Don't be a victim of fraud. Caller ID Spoofing.

Identity Theft is the deliberate use of someone else's identity, usually as a method to gain a financial advantage or obtain credit and other benefits in the other person's name, and perhaps to the other person's disadvantage or loss. Protecting your personal information can help reduce your risk of identity theft.

Reduce your risk:

  1. Know who you share information with.
  2. Store and dispose of your personal information securely, especially your Social Security number.
  3. Ask questions before deciding to share your personal information.
  4. Maintain appropriate security on your computers and other electronic devices.
